Description:

The Majestic line of Brother typewriters was sold in Canada. Adds from Eaton's feature machines from various periods.

This one has a 12" carriage. To note, a 1975 version of the 812 sold for $115.99. It was offered with French or English keyboards. The accent key on mine does not advance: one types the accent and then the intended letter before the carriage advances.

Was Majestic applied to other makes of typewriters? See http://www.newspapers.com/clip/1207082//
