Description:
A 1970 Oympia Traveller made in Western Germany. I purchased this from eBay in August 2023 and then had it serviced by Ocean View Typewriters.
It has the features of a Traveller de Luxe but no evidence that there was a Traveller de Luxe badge on the right side of the typewriter.
It took me a few months to get the hang of typing on this machine to get an even imprint. I need to use a good typing technique and use cardstock as a backing to get a good imprint. Once I discovered that the backing needed to be cardstock, it was a game changer. Typeface is script #69.
