1968 Smith Corona Electra 120 Serial # 6LEV-273780 1968 Smith Corona Electra 120 typewriter, Serial # 6LEV-273780 Liz Glenn's 1968 Smith Corona Electra 120 typewriter. 2023-06-23 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Liz Glenn: 1968 Smith Corona Electra 120 Serial # 6LEV-273780 "Charlotte"

I acquired this rare gem in June 2022. I never thought I would find one of my favorite typestyles on an electric until I saw the Facebook posting of Todd Payne (Lazy Dog Typewriter) about his Sears Electric Twelve with italic typeface. My mind was blown! I knew I had to find one of my own and I did, thankfully. When it comes to a special/rare typestyles on typewriters, I've come across more manuals than I have electrics that have them. This is truly a GEM especially with it soothing blue Starmist color. I also love that it has the ability for changeable type.

This worked flawlessly right out of the box since it was already serviced/clean. It still retains a somewhat hard but original platen. The print is nice & crisp.

Just a "Typewriter Nut". I like collecting technologies from the past such as typewriters especially the ones with special/rare typefaces. There's just something about learning how things were made (& worked) back in the day!
