The seller neglected to mention script in the heading and I don't think anyone gave it much of a look because the top was missing. I don't so much mind the missing top because the machine is still a delight to type on and for a while this was my only script typewriter.

Found on eBay for $45. The seller neglected to mention script in the heading and I don't think anyone gave it much of a look because the top was missing. I don't so much mind the missing top because the machine is still a delight to type on and for a while this was my only script typewriter.

So the paint is different on every single Olivetti I think, but I'd rather the hues match than the texture (were I only able to pick one), and look how good the new top matches!

The new ribbon cover sits pretty flush too. This one is no longer afraid to go out in public! Looks great! Thanks Ted!
