I acquired this in October 2021. It's fully restored with a brand new platen from JJ Short, new feet from Septemis Clark, and was deep cleaned by Duane "PhoenixTypewriter" Jensen. It is also sporting a brand new bichrome black/red silk ribbon, which is eyelet/grommet free, on DIN 2103 (6N070) metal spools from Ribbons Unlimited. It types like a DREAM. Out of all of my Torpedo 18 A/B's, this is my best one.

Just a "Typewriter Nut". I like collecting technologies from the past such as typewriters especially the ones with special/rare typefaces. There's just something about learning how things were made (& worked) back in the day!
