Description:
This is the earliest 4-bank Underwood portable I've seen, and it will be the earliest in the Database, so I figured I should document it.
Some things to note: typebars hook onto the fulcrum wire instead of the wire passing through a hole; no left platen knob; metal tab for shift lock instead of a key; carriage return lever hook points left instead of up as on later machines.
