Silver Seiko basic mechanism branded for the Eaton's department stores in Canada in the 1970's (I am unclear as to how to interpret the specific date of the serial number on this one). Not a terribly uncommon model to find, and this one was in excellent overall shape and very clean. Like all of the metal-bodied Silver Seiko typewriters, it was very, very loud to type on. I pulled it apart and added felt to all of the inner surfaces, which helped immensely. Now it is a very capable and pleasant typer. The Eaton name and the pretty colour resonate with me, so this one is a keeper over the other similar models I encounter.
