This was an Ebay purchase, when it arrived the package rattled, I opened it up, the case was upside and only had the crushed paper wrap, wrapped around the case one time, and the bottom of the box had news paper. I take the case out, flip it right side up and open it.... the rattle was the ribbon spools on top of the type bar basket and the cover was knocked out of the holder. The cover had some blemishes I was lucky enough to repair those and it shined up real nice. Thank goodness the seller had the carriage lock on and it types real nice....

I hate to use the expression "Treasure Hunter" But it fit's, and that's what I do. My wife calls it a problem, I can think of a lot worst things to do in my spare time. Antiques have always been part of my life, they keep you grounded and keep you in touch with the old days of hard work, ingenuity and craftsmanship.
