And... another one?!
The fourth Lettera 32 at home, and the third one I got for free (the one I paid for was 0,50 €).
This is anothr case of I´m-gonna-thrash-it-do-you-want-it-or-not, so I said oh, yes, please, I want it! Another nice present, and this one came from Meri. Thanks a lot!
This one has seen little and bad maintenance at the same time. The case zipper needs heavy repairs and the worst thing is what someone did with the ribbon spool. Olivettis are picky with the spools and they don´t work if you lose the nuts that hold the spools in place. In this case there´s no nut, and the spool has been replaced with someting incompatible, so the ribbon only winds one way (towards the original spool). I´ll replace it, and I hope that´s enough.
As for the typewriter itself, it has a nice futuristic typeface and it´s pretty much like any other Lettera 32: quite good and pointing towards really good.

The first typewriter I saw was my grandpa´s Olivetti Linea 98 at the office. It was just a curio for me. Then I was given a Nakajima, which I didn´t use and my grandfather took it from me because it was easier to handle than the bulky Linea 98.
Now I own that typewriter, and I started a little collection in Valladolid, Spain. The Nakajima, which is "my" typewriter is the only one which is NOT in my collection. How ironic...
Things then got... complex. I moved from Valladolid to my village, and suddenly found myself with a lot of room available at home, so the small collection is turning into something bigger, a nuisace for my family and a great source of satisfaction for me.
Look at the left spool. There´s the intruder!
