Its closest relatives seem to be the three machines linked in Robert Messenger's blog, two of which are his, one of which belongs to Richard Polt. It is reasonable to assume it is a Nippo. It was made in Japan and the manual is typical of a Nippo. The machine is in great cosmetic condition, but performs horribly. I think it was less than $40 on eBay. Given away.
