Green lid and platen. Year of manufacture entered above is based on original bill of sale, May 28, 1966, which was included in the case along with all original papers and the last date of service.

I decided that I wanted to find the one typewriter that I remembered my mom using to type my term papers in school. Even though we couldn't find it, I found that I enjoyed typewriters and started a collection. It extended to rescuing the ones in my parents' basement a week before it flooded.
I enjoy making machines work and especially like to use the Smith Premier typewriters.
