Toward the end of March I went to an early season Flea Market and I spotted this from the back. I could not believe I was seeing a SG1.
I cannot figure out how to set up the end of line indicator on the table as it will not move low enough for the 11" paper I use.
The only real issue that this machine has right now is the deteriorating foam. Is there a good way to remove and then replace it? I'd be tempted to change it over to the kind of sound deadening used on an Olympia Portable or Smith-Corona portable as it seems to stand up well.
Serial number facing the user on the carriage frame is 7-516992; this is also on the machines frame when the carriage frame is removed.
Serial number underneath the carriage frame: 8-534431
