It is moreless mechanically sound, but optical condition is poor and platen is hard as a rock. It also had an issue with automatic ribbon reverse, which remained defunct for decades, but now it is fixed.

Royals are rare in Ukraine, and P portables are no exception. So I bought this worn down machine without any hesitation. At least, it might be the last remaining P in my city.

After this sudden discovery, I dismantled right shift key and found there "Zmeniacz". Therefore I believe my Royal had originally Polish layout.
