Description:
This is the one that started it all. I found this 1926 Underwood 5 locally, and couldn't pass it up. After speaking with the seller, I learned that it had been bought and used for a local business that his grand parents owned. It was put in the attic when his grandmother passed and sat there for 40 years.
After replacing the draw band and some light cleaning, I got her up and running. She works very well, but tends to sit in the back row, occupying space on a shelf.
I'd like to eventually donate it to the local Historical Society, if they were to have any interest.

I caught the typewriter bug when I fell in love with an Underwood 5. A few months later and I am now up to 10 typewriters, with the majority consisting of Royal P's and O's. I keep telling myself that "this is the last one", but we all know how that goes..
