Description:
Got enough parts to fix her after all: new carriage, replaced all the key inserts and some chrome rings, new draw-string, found another ribbon spool and nut, replaced feet, etc. I have the second paper-rest ear for the replaced carriage, but haven't put it on yet. Used the letter P key insert from a 3-bank National typewriter; it was a hair smaller, but with the chrome ring over it the noticeability isn't easy.

After finding a Smith-Corona Coronet 12 at a curb-side (in Winter while walking the dog) I carried it home; after it thawed out and started coming back to life I was hooked. My interest in this hobby lead to taking two parts typewriters to create one good unit. This typewriter aliment is (pretty much) in-curable!
