My first electro-mechanical machine!

Cannot find my model in list. But says 3LRB under model number on sticker.

Bought for $25 from Children's Hospice in England.

Lovely machine made in the SCM Singapore factory.

Has pre-set tabs, rapid spacebar feature, fully automatic carriage return, automatic carriage shift, Buttons for pre-set tabs and power-spacer are manual.

Not too loud, although I haven't used many of these machines. Assume the clicking noises are the solenoids- whirring of belt is quite quiet.

Really nice to use, has a touch regulator to stiffen the keys up a bit.

Lovely solid moulded case.

After my horrible experience with the delay after typing when using a fully electronic machine, I am really pleased with this.

Typewriter collector, previous sewing machine collector.

Originally from the Garden of England, Kent. I have lived in Sheffield for over fifteen years.

As a young child, I always enjoyed taking things apart and seeing how they functioned.

I have been collecting a range of vintage typewriters for over two years.

Previously, I was interested in restoring sewing machines, then I acquired my mothers Olivetti Dora and looked under the hood and typed, I was hooked on typewriters and how they worked.

I learn something every day from passionate bloggers and typewriter enthusiasts.

Fan of Joe Van Cleave's typewriter video series.
