I have never seen one of these before, and again I have no idea whether it´s an original model or not. It´s Italian made, and has a unnerving AZERTY keyboard.

I found it in a small thrift store in Évora, Portugal, and bought it just out of curiosity. Works like new, but that´s not much to say because it´s a pretty average typewriter. Not intended for heavy work, but enough for a pleasant and relaxed writing.

After a bit of research here at the Database, I´ve seen there are several similar typewriters filed as IMC-Engandine. I think that should be its place, so I´ve refiled it. IMC-Engandine Rover 5000 Comfort Matic. The longest full name. Ever.

Another quirky typewriter. I have never seen one of these before, and again I have no idea whether it´s an original model or not. It´s Italian made, and has a unnerving AZERTY keyboard.

The first typewriter I saw was my grandpa´s Olivetti Linea 98 at the office. It was just a curio for me. Then I was given a Nakajima, which I didn´t use and my grandfather took it from me because it was easier to handle than the bulky Linea 98. Now I own that typewriter, and I started a little collection in Valladolid, Spain. The Nakajima, which is "my" typewriter only returned home in 2017, almost 20 years later, when he wanted a better typewriter.

A collection that started small grew into something bigger, a nuisace for my family and a great source of satisfaction for me.
