Description:
Purchased for my brother as a graduation gift by my father, has been in the family ever since.
This is an electric machine, operates more like an electrified manual (has type basket, ribbon vibrator and moving carriage like a manual).
Types very nice, a person can touch-type very fast on this machine, but it makes lots of clunky solenoid noises; louder than most manuals.

RESEARCH NOTE: When researching the Hermes 10 on a computer with lots of screen real estate, you may find that launching the Hermes Serial Number page and the Hermes 10 By Model/Year/Serial page in new browser windows can give you interesting perspectives on changes throughout the model series.
