The Typewriter Database 196X Commodore Personal Serial # ZP-221962 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Uwe Wachtendorf: 196X Commodore Personal Serial # ZP-221962 Later version of the custom-cased Commodore Personal. Stampings inside both the case and ribbon cover now say Commodore instead of the case manufacturer's name.

The Professional model added a colour selector among other things, so beside the blank opening where that lever would have stuck out, you can see how the crinkle paint was used to fill the divots meant for the colour legend.

This Commodore also has the rotten rubber that Consul machines of the era were blessed with; at least with this particular model it's an easy fix.

The soft travel case is a Blondy, another Commodore substitute to make their models less similar to Consul machines in appearance at least.
