When I got it, it had a new ribbon, had been cleaned, and was overall perfect, which means someone else had recently owned it, then sold it again after getting it working. I only hope it was under good circumstances. . .
I too have moved on from this machina, and now it is in the hands of a good friend. They use it more than I do, as I have truly better machina to use. SO it has a good home now.
