188X Pocket No.1 Serial # 4915 188X Pocket No.1 typewriter, Serial # 4915 Greg Fudacz's 188X Pocket No.1 typewriter. 2018-07-19 From the Virtual Typewriter Collection of Greg Fudacz: 188X Pocket No.1 Serial # 4915 The Pocket was one of the smallest typewriters ever produced. It's an index typewriter that lacks a carriage so, as a result, the entire machine moves along a sheet of paper while it's being used. A later No.2 model had larger rubber type but fewer total characters. Both were manufactured at Swan Arcade in Bradford, England.
